announced today that it has lowered the price of its premium DSL Internet
service by $4 per month.
BellSouth FastAccess DSL Xtreme 6.0, featuring downstream speeds 100
times faster than standard dial-up service, is now available to new
customers for $42.95 per month. With the purchase of FastAccess DSL Xtreme
6.0 service, new customers, or those upgrading from a lower speed, can now
add, at no additional charge, BellSouth(R) FastAccess(R) HomeNetworking
Plus(1), previously $5.00 per month, and BellSouth(R) Premium Internet
Security services for one PC, previously $6.99 per month.

customers who are realizing their need for speed, flexibility, and

their DSL Internet access, files and printers on up to four computers,

homes. HomeNetworking Plus customers who order online can also now order a
free wireless gateway with rebate. In addition, customers will receive a
self-installation kit and specialized, 24x7 technical support for the
service.
BellSouth Premium Internet Security features a host of security
applications designed to help keep residential customers safe while online
and their PCs free of spyware, viruses and tracking cookies. The service
combines three top-ranked security applications into one easy-to-use
program and includes necessary updates like virus file definitions and
product enhancements.
