HOUSTON, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Eagle USA Airfreight, Inc. (EUSA)
(Nasdaq: EUSA) today announced Ron Talley has been promoted to the post of
Chief Operating Officer.
Talley, who most recently served as Senior Vice President of Air and Truck
Operations for the Company, assumes the post left vacant since the retirement
of Daniel Swannie in 1996.

Talley, 46, began with the Company in 1990 as a station manager and held a
variety of management positions; beginning in 1996, he was appointed Senior
Vice President of Eagle Freight Services, Eagle Transportation, and Eagle
Charter in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining the Company, Talley served as
station manager at Holmes Freight Lines. Prior to joining Holmes, Talley held
a variety of management positions at Trans Con Freight Lines and Roadway
Express beginning in 1969.
