GPC Biotech Schedules Conference Call for Today, December 20th to Discuss Partnering Agreement with Pharmion Corporation for Satraplatin

    MARTINSRIED/MUNICH, Germany, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- U.S.
Research and Development Facilities in Waltham/Boston Mass. and Princeton N.J.
-- GPC Biotech AG (Frankfurt Stock Exchange: GPC; TecDAX index; Nasdaq: GPCB)
today announced that it will hold a conference call today, Tuesday, December
20, 2005 to discuss its partnering agreement with Pharmion Corporation.  The
two companies announced earlier today that they have entered into a co-
development and license agreement for satraplatin.
    The call will be held today at 15:30 CET/9:30 AM EST. Participants may
