Prominent Attorney and Businessperson Joins Eckert Seamans

    PITTSBURGH, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- John R. McGinley, a prominent trial
lawyer and businessperson, is joining the Pittsburgh office of Eckert Seamans
Cherin & Mellott, LLC.  McGinley will leave Grogan Graffam McGinley, the firm
he helped to found more than 30 years ago, and join Eckert Seamans as an
equity owner in January.

    Jack McGinley has been a trial lawyer for more than 30 years and has
extensive experience in corporate, business, real estate and professional
liability matters.  Prior to forming Grogan Graffam McGinley, McGinley served
as Assistant District Attorney for Allegheny County.  McGinley is a director
of Pittsburgh Steelers Sports, Inc., and part owner of the Pittsburgh
Steelers.  He is also a director of Wilson-McGinley and the chairman of
Ballymoney & Company, a business that develops and manages real estate
properties.  He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University
School of Law.
    McGinley has served on the boards of directors of a number of nonprofit
organizations, including Mercy Hospital Foundation, Pittsburgh Mercy Health
System, St. Bonaventure University and Duquesne University Law Alumni
Association.  McGinley is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and has a
law degree from Duquesne University Law School, where he served as managing
editor of the Duquesne Law Review.  He is a fellow of the American College of
Trial Lawyers and a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny
County.
    Coming to Eckert Seamans with McGinley are two other Grogan Graffam
McGinley attorneys.  James A. Pellow III, a real estate, corporate and
business attorney for more than 12 years, joins Eckert Seamans as a member.
Pellow graduated from Pennsylvania State University and has a law degree from
the University of Pittsburgh.  Eric Zagrocki, a real estate, commercial
finance and corporate attorney, joins Eckert Seamans as an associate.
Zagrocki is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has a law degree
from Duquesne University School of Law.
