TROY, Mich., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Corp. today named Brian D.
Thelen as the company's vice president of audit, effective Feb. 1, 2006.
Thelen, 42, will report to Robert J. Dellinger, executive vice president and
chief financial officer, and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Additionally, he will be a member of the Delphi Strategy Board, the company's
top policy-making group. Most recently, Thelen was vice president, internal
audit services, for Waste Management, Inc.

moves forward with its transformation," said Dellinger.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Thelen began his business
career in 1986 with the Chicago office of Ernst & Young. He earned his CPA in
1987 and joined Trane Chicago, a division of American Standard Inc. as
controller in 1990. He was promoted to Audit Manager of American Standard in
1995, the same year he earned his MBA at the Lake Forest Graduate School of
Management. He was named general auditor, American Standard Companies, Inc.,
in 1998. Thelen joined Waste Management Inc. in 2000 as its vice president,
internal audit services. He currently serves as chair for the Manufacturers
Alliance/MAPI General Auditor Roundtable.
