AT&T WorldNet Service Helps People Stick to Their 1999
Resolutions With New Year's Web Page
BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- A recent nationwide survey
conducted by AT&T WorldNet(R) Service found that of the 35% of Americans who
made New Year's Resolutions in 1998, less than one-third stuck with them
through the end of the year. Those wishing to lose weight, kick smoking or
fix their finances -- the top three resolutions according to the survey --
cited lack of time or willpower as the obstacles keeping them from making good
on their resolutions.
With the survey results, AT&T WorldNet Service has created a "New Year's
1999 Resolution" Website (http://www.att.net/resolutions.html) listing
America's top 10 resolutions for 1999 and providing direct links to Web sites
and services that can help people stick to their resolutions throughout the
new year.
"Many people start the year with ambitious New Year's resolutions, but
somehow they end up putting them off, or forgetting them altogether," said
Chris Varley, managing director, AT&T Interactive Group. "That's why AT&T
WorldNet Service has created a Web site dedicated to helping people keep their
resolutions and act on them. Whether it's finding a dream house or finding
the perfect job, help is as easy as logging onto the Web."
