         Trio Teams up to Host Seminar on Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002

    ATLANTA, Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy LLP
(Powell Goldstein) will partner with two of Atlanta's top CPA firms, Porter
Keadle Moore, LLP (PKM) and Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC, (M&J) to sponsor a seminar
entitled, "The Public Company Minefield:  Surviving the New Sarbanes-Oxley &
Nasdaq Rules."  The full-day seminar will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2003
at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Atlanta.
    Geared toward senior level executives and board members of public banking
companies, this timely seminar will address issues such as:  new rules and
strict penalties imposed by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; board and audit committee
responsibilities for corporate governance; how relationships with auditors,
lawyers and regulators are changed by the Act; the Act's effect on financial
reporting; and executive compensation issues.  The seminar will be chaired by
Walt Moeling and Robert Barker of Powell Goldstein, with featured speakers
