Hula Hoops Mealtime Potato Rings Get a Saucy New Look From Heinz

    14 December 2000 -- Heinz is revamping Hula Hoops Mealtime Potato Rings
which is set to attract new impulse purchasers to the frozen potato sector as
well as liven up children's mealtimes.
    Kids will love the 'new crunchier recipe' which features as a flash on
pack - Hula Hoops Mealtime Potato Rings are coated in a crispier coating which
delivers on taste and quality.   The bright new pack design also brings the
frozen product in line with the KP ambient snack pack.

frozen food in August 1998.  Currently holding a 6.3% share of the 129 million
British pounds sterling Potato Products Market, Hula Hoops Mealtime Potato
Rings has reached value sales from IR of 8.1 million pounds (MAT 8/8/00).
    Ninety per cent of all potatoes consumed by children come from the kids
potato product sector.  Sales of kids potato products have increased by 470% -
from 5.8 million pounds in 1995 to 33.5 million pounds at the end of 1999.
