Eagle USA Airfreight, Inc. Announces Facility Completion

    HOUSTON, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Eagle USA Airfreight, Inc. (Nasdaq: EUSA)
today announced that it has completed construction of its new corporate
headquarters building and Houston operations center.
    The new facility, near the Houston Intercontinental Airport, is situated
on over 23 acres of land, which affords the opportunity for further expansion
to accommodate future growth.  Greater than 400 employees have been moved into
the new building which also features several employee amenities such as a
landscaped jogging trail surrounding the site, and a health and fitness room
featuring the latest in personal wellness and exercise equipment.
    "Our new home, with its surplus of land and modular nature, will provide
for our growth for many years to come," said Jim Crane, chairman and chief
executive officer.  "With all of our people again under one roof, customers
will benefit through increased efficiency and operations improvements.  Just
as importantly, we have tried to create an environment which maximizes the

    In its old facilities, the Company had a total of 51,000 square feet of
space.  Total square footage of the new facilities is 135,279, which includes
46,275 square feet of warehouse space, 19,836 square feet for its Houston
operations, and 69,168 square feet for its corporate offices.
