TREXLER NAMED TO CONGRESSIONAL SPORTSMEN'S BOARD

     RICHMOND, Va., July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Peter L. Trexler, general
manager of James River Corporation's Upper Brandon Plantation, has been
named to the board of director's of the Congressional Sportsmen's
Foundation, a nonprofit organization chartered in 1989 to promote and
preserve the rights of hunters and fishermen in the U.S. while
advocating wildlife conservation and educating the public about the
economic contributions of outdoor sporting activities.
     Mr. Trexler, 48, manages James River's corporate conference center,
1,800-acre operating farm, and historic manor house that comprise the
historic Upper Brandon Plantation on the James River south of Richmond.
Prior to joining the company he served as regional director for the
Virginia State Water Control Board.
