Agreement Worth an Estimated $30 Million Over Three Years

CHICAGO, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- AmeriNet, one of the nation's leading
health care group purchasing organizations, has signed a three-year purchasing
contract with W.W. Grainger, Inc. (NYSE: GWW), North America's leading
distributor of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) supplies. Over the
course of the agreement, which becomes effective April 1, 1998, AmeriNet
expenditures with Grainger are expected to reach more than $30 million.
"Our agreement allows AmeriNet member facilities to simplify purchasing

Brian Murphy, Director of AmeriNet's ValuHealth/ValuQuip Operations, says,
"Our new contract with Grainger provides two cost-saving options designed to
meet each member's specific purchasing needs."

purchasing program and a voluntary program for products from Grainger that
represent the majority of a hospital's maintenance, housekeeping and safety
supply requirements.
