Focusing on Cost and Operational Efficiency
RENO, Nev., March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc. (Nasdaq: RENO),
(PCX: RNO) today announced a new organizational structure and the appointment
of Bev Grear as senior vice president operations and Vicki Bretthauer as vice
president administration.
Grear will be responsible for all the operating entities of the airline
including customer service, flight operations, in-flight, maintenance and
customer relations. Bretthauer will assume responsibility for all support
functions and will be responsible for human resources, information technology,
purchasing, properties, operations control, crew scheduling, and safety and
security.
"This new organization and the addition of two experienced airline
veterans, Bev Grear and Vicki Bretthauer, is the first step in bringing in the
expertise necessary to reduce costs, improve the product and restore the
airline to profitability," said Reno Air Chairman, President and CEO
Joe O'Gorman.
Grear joins Reno Air from AFSA Data Corporation in Long Beach, CA, where
she was the senior vice president of operations. She has more than 15 years
of airline industry experience and an extensive background in customer
services and operations. She was previously vice president customer services
for Frontier and director of in-flight for Air Cal.
Bretthauer, another 15-year airline industry veteran, joins Reno Air from
United Airlines, where she was the director information services
administration at the company headquarters in Chicago. She has extensive
airline experience in systems, finance, scheduling and field operations.

on reducing costs and making the changes necessary to restore profitability,"
said O'Gorman.
