COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Banc One Investment Advisors
Corporation announced that Barbara S. Walchli was named Co-Manager of The
One Group Large Company Growth Fund and The One Group Income Equity Fund. The
One Group is the proprietary mutual fund family of Banc One Corporation
(NYSE: ONE). Banc One Investment Advisors, an indirect subsidiary of Banc One
Corporation, is the investment advisor for the funds.
Walchli will work with R. Lynn Yturri in managing the two mutual funds.
She worked with Yturri from 1979 until 1994 at Banc One Investment Advisors
and its predecessor Valley Capital Management, the investment subsidiary of
Valley National Bank in Phoenix. She had joined Valley Capital in 1979 as an
equity analyst and in 1985 was promoted to director of research. Between 1991
and 1993, she also managed pensions and an equity income common trust fund.
Most recently, Walchli was director of research at First Interstate Capital
Management in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Walchli earned a bachelor's degree in Economics/American Studies from
Smith College in 1975 and an M.B.A. degree from Arizona State University in
1979. She is a chartered financial analyst and a past president of the Phoenix
Society of Financial Analysts.
