Adds Search-Term Highlighting And Navigation To Acrobat Reader, Provided
                           Free To Fulcrum Customers

    OTTAWA, Canada, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ - Fulcrum Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:
FULCF; TSE: FUL) today announced the availability of an add-on to Adobe(R)
Acrobat(R) 3.0 that will provide search-term highlighting and navigation
buttons within Acrobat for use by Fulcrum(R) applications.  The add-on is
designed to be a part of all of Fulcrum's indexing and retrieval software --
including Surfboard(R), Fulcrum FIND!(TM) and SearchServer(TM) -- and it will
be provided at no additional cost to Fulcrum customers.  The Fulcrum add-on is
undergoing customer testing now, and will be available for SearchServer
customers by the end of the year.

Fulcrum's products. North American pricing for SearchServer begins at US$5000
per server, with desktop licenses from US$295.  Volume pricing is available.
