COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Banc One Corporation, Columbus,
Ohio (NYSE: ONE) Donald Winkler, President and CEO of Banc One Credit
Corporation, has named Jan C. Ocean the National Residual/Valuation Manager
for Banc One Credit Corporation.  In this newly created position, Ocean will
report to Louis Vitale, National AutoLease Product Manager.
    Ocean will have responsibility for managing the AutoLease residual setting
process for Banc One Credit Corporation.  Prior to joining Banc One, Ocean had
more than 14 years of management experience directing publishing activities
for one of America's most respected sources of vehicle values and related
automotive data.  Since 1982, Ocean was with the National Automobile Dealers
Association (N.A.D.A.) in McLean, Virginia.  Since 1994, he had been Editor
responsible for directing the development and production for all of N.A.D.A.
Used Car Guide Publications.  He had previously held management positions with
new and used car dealers in Virginia.  Ocean holds a Bachelor of Science
degree from Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Maryland.
