NORTH AURORA, Ill., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- General Signal Pump Group, a
unit of General Signal, today announced at the 49th Annual Air-conditioning,
Heating and Refrigeration Trade Exposition in Philadelphia, the release of its
new Aurora Pump line of in-line mounted centrifugal pumps for the commercial
market. Identified as the 326A Series, the pumps will handle capacities to
140 GPM (8.8 lps) heads to 55 feet (16.8 m) and temperatures to 225 degrees F
(107C).
Designed For Commercial Buildings
The entire 326A Series is specifically designed and engineered to meet the
severest demands of commercial building heating and cooling systems. Pumping
applications include: hot water heater circulation, pressure booster systems,
and cooling towers for office buildings, hotels, hospitals, universities, and
warehouses. The pumps feature direct flange-to-flange compatibility which
allows an installer to replace existing pumps without time-consuming piping
and companion flange modifications. In addition, the 326A Series Pump has an
integral pump/motor shaft, making spring-type couplings and shaft extensions
unnecessary and eliminating premature nuisance failures. The new pumps are
available in both standard and build-to-order configurations for optimum pump
selection flexibility.
Aurora Pump offers a complete line of centrifugal pumps through 4000 GPM
for commercial, municipal and industrial applications.
