ATLANTA, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- BUYPASS Corporation today announced the
addition of the states of Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois and Louisiana to
their electronic benefits transfer (EBT) gateway service. Illinois was
certified in the fourth quarter, and Colorado, Connecticut and Louisiana were

provides EBT processing in 13 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois,
Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Dakota, South
Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah. Electronic benefits transfer allows
welfare recipients to use state-issued plastic cards to access benefits --
such as food stamps -- electronically at participating supermarkets and other

Marshall, president of BUYPASS. "We are excited to add four more states, so
that we can continue to meet our customers' needs and keep them on the leading
edge of electronic payment solutions." Marshall stated that BUYPASS expects
