has formed an alliance with Distribution Solutions, Inc. to service the order
fulfillment program to pharmaceutical representatives throughout the United
States and Puerto Rico.
Distribution Solutions International, Inc. (DSI), based in Traverse City,
Michigan, is a logistics management company specializing in transportation and
order fulfillment management for a variety of industries. In DSI's
"Integrated Virtual Network", Eagle USA Airfreight has been named the primary
carrier for the majority of DSI's pharmaceutical accounts, including Searle
Laboratories, based in Chicago, Illinois. "Integrated Virtual Network", a
term originated by DSI, is an assembly of proficient logistics partners that
provide complete transportation and/or fulfillment services. These services
and the accompanying information are integrated into DSI's network yielding
seamless service to their customers.
Eagle USA will provide DSI with a network of 56 domestic company-owned
locations, the flexibility to customize each order, and the EDI capability to
supply real-time information to the logistics provider. Dedicated customer
service representatives in key areas such as Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia,
and Newark will ensure a smooth operation along with on-time and accurate
