(Nasdaq: REDB), The Data Warehouse Company(TM), today announced the promotion
of Kathy Bagby, 34, to vice president of finance and accounting, reporting to
Robert Hausmann, vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
    Bagby, formerly director of finance and accounting, is responsible for
accounting, financial planning and internal reporting.  Bagby's new role
reflects Red Brick's commitment to the growth of its financial and operational
infrastructure.

    Bagby joined Red Brick in 1992 as accounting manager and was promoted to
director of finance and accounting in 1995.  Prior to joining Red Brick, Bagby
held senior financial positions with Adia Services, Inc. and Syntex
Corporation.  Bagby has more than fourteen years of finance and accounting
experience.  Bagby is based at Red Brick's Los Gatos headquarters.
