ATLANTA, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Preferred Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: PFNT)
(PNI), an outsourcing services provider to the wireless industry, today
announced that Kim Smith Hughes has resigned her position as Chief Financial
Officer. Kim will be replaced by Kathryn Loev Putnam, who has been appointed
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Putnam was previously
Vice President of Corporate Development for the Company.
Mark H. Dunaway, PNI Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Kim and
her husband have been commuting between Atlanta and Florida for almost two
years and have decided to live in Florida on a full-time basis. Kim has shown
great dedication and has been an integral part of PNI's growth during recent
years. Among her many accomplishments is creating a strong financial

smooth transition of responsibilities. We will miss her and wish her the
