Fulcrum Launches ``Fulcrum Alliance Network'' for Partners

            The ``FAN'' Club Gives Partners Broader Set Of Options,
                               Simplifies Process

    OTTAWA, Canada, Mar. 10 /PRNewswire/ - Fulcrum Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:
FULCF; TSE: FUL) today announced a new partner program, the Fulcrum(R)
Alliance Network(TM).  The new program, which replaces the Fulcrum Alliance
Partner Program(TM) simplifies the process of becoming a Fulcrum reseller,
system integrator, independent software vendor, consultant, trainer or other
partner, and provides a broader, more flexible menu of options for Fulcrum
partners to choose from.  The program has been tailored to help partners take
advantage of the unique capabilities of the next generation of Fulcrum
products, the Fulcrum(R) Knowledge Network(TM), also announced today.
    ``Many of our partners have been Fulcrum supporters for years, and they
have consistently delivered a significant share of our revenue,'' said Mike

    The three-tiered, web-based architecture of the Fulcrum Knowledge Network
provides opportunities for partners to deliver value in several ways.

    -  Fulcrum Solution Providers - Resellers who sell solutions using the
       integrated family of Fulcrum Knowledge Network products.

    -  Premier Fulcrum Solution Providers - Resellers or systems integrators
       who provide application development, integration solutions and
       services for the complete range of Fulcrum's products, including the
       Fulcrum Knowledge Network and Fulcrum SearchServer(TM).

    -  Fulcrum Authorized Training Centers - Organizations accredited to
       train and educate end-users, consultants and other members of the

Solution Providers and Authorized Training Centers pay US$1995.
