PITTSBURGH, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. (AMEX: PDM)
announced today the acquisition of Candraft Detailing, Inc. located in
Vancouver, British Columbia, one of the premier engineering drafting companies
serving the steel building and bridge fabrication industry in North America.
In addition, the two former principals of Candraft, Lionel Durante and
John Cooper, have agreed to continue with Candraft.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. (PDM(R)) is a diversified engineering and
construction company that also processes and distributes a broad range of
carbon steel products. PDM has three business segments: the Engineered
Construction Division, Steel Construction and Steel Service Centers. PDM has
sales offices and plant facilities located primarily in the United States.
