SIOUX CITY, Iowa, March 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P.
(NYSE: TNH) today announced that on May 27, 1997 it will redeem all senior
preference units that have not converted to common units. The holders of
senior units have until 5:00 P.M. on March 31, 1997 to convert those units
into common units, pursuant to the conversion statement dated December 31,
1996. Holders of non-converting senior units of record on April 1, 1997 will
be mailed a redemption notice explaining the procedure for receiving the
redemption proceeds. The redemption price is $21.50 per unit exclusive of any
cash distribution.
