WILKES-BARRE, Pa., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- PG Energy and its parent
company, Pennsylvania Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: PNT) recently announced the
election of JoAnne McHale to Assistant Secretary.  In her new capacity, she
will serve as an officer of both Companies and assist the Corporate Secretary.
She assumes these duties in addition to her current responsibilities as an
Executive Secretary to the Vice Presidents of Customer Services and
Administrative Services & Corporate Secretary.
    Ms. McHale is a graduate of St. Ann's Academy.  She received an Associate
Degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Lackawanna Junior
College.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from King's
College and has attained the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS)
designation.
    A charter member of the Wyoming Valley Chapter of Professional Secretaries
International (PSI), she has served as an officer or committee chair since the
local Chapter's inception in 1975.  She is also a member of the Executive
Women's Committee of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce.
    She resides in Pittston, Pennsylvania.
