(NYSE: RCM) has announced the election of Morris Gelb as Senior Vice
President. Gelb has responsibility for Worldwide Manufacturing, Research,
Engineering, and Environmental, Health and Safety.
Gelb, 51, joined Oxirane, a company that preceded ARCO Chemical, in 1977.
He has held a variety of management positions within ARCO Chemical, including
Managing Director, ARCO Chemical - Iberia; Vice President of ARCO Chemical
Europe, Inc.; and Vice President, Research and Engineering.
Gelb holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from Cooper Union. He
lives in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with his wife, Amanda, and their two
children.
