Inc. (EPS) announced today that it has formed an alliance with American Bank
Systems, Inc. (ABS) making EPS the exclusive provider of electronic funds
transfer (EFT) processing services to ABS. ABS will offer these services to
banks, savings & loans, and credit unions that use their services. EPS will
provide a variety of electronic fund transfer (EFT) processing services to
financial institutions including terminal driving for ATMs and advanced
self-service terminals, debit card, point-of-sale (POS) and gateway services
for ABS. The services will first be offered in Oklahoma and eventually extend
into the other markets that ABS serves. Headquartered in Wilmington,
Delaware, Electronic Payment Services, Inc. is the largest EFT processor in
the nation.
