American General Corporation Licenses the COGEN/MP(TM) Client Component

    AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation
(NYSE: CSC) announced that American General Corporation has signed a
corporatewide license for the COGEN/MP(TM) Client Component.
    The COGEN/MP Client Component, which is provided by CSC's Financial
Services Group, is a comprehensive client management system which functions as
the central repository for information about insureds, agents, claimants, and
payees.  The COGEN/MP Client Component provides a single view of client
information, even if that information resides on multiple systems and data
repositories throughout the company.  American General plans to use the
COGEN/MP Client component to support their systems integration activities.
