Announcing Service to Reno Air's Newest City - You're Lookin' Fine, Oklahoma!

           Airline Will Increase Service Between Reno and Las Vegas

    RENO, Nev., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc. (Nasdaq: RENO; PSE: RNO)
today announced it will begin scheduled service between Las Vegas, Nev., and
Oklahoma City, Okla., and will increase daily service between Las Vegas and
Reno to seven nonstop flights in September.
    Beginning September 16, the low-fare, full-service carrier will fly
nonstop between Las Vegas and Oklahoma City, with one-way introductory fares
starting as low as $89 for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  A
$99 one-way introductory fare is available for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and
Monday flights.
    Some restrictions apply to these fares.  Travel must be completed by
December 22, 1997.  Reservations must be made at least 14 days before
departure.  Tickets must be purchased by September 30, 1997 or within 24 hours
of making the reservation, whichever comes first.  Tickets are nonrefundable
and a $35 change fee applies.  Airport facility charges of $3 to $12 are not
included.  Passengers may upgrade to first class for $25, space available, one
hour before departure.

    Service between Oklahoma City and Las Vegas will begin with one daily
roundtrip on September 16 and will increase to two daily roundtrips
September 19.  The additional roundtrip between Las Vegas and Reno will be
added September 16.  Passengers may book Reno Air flights through their travel
agent or by calling the airline directly at 800-RENO-AIR.  They can also
purchase EZtrip(TM) ticketless travel through Reno Air's web site at
http://www.renoair.com.
