Fulcrum Works With Adobe to Provide Rich Integration as Part of Fulcrum Knowledge Network

          Adobe PDF Files Seamlessly Indexed, Searched, Displayed With
                 Search-Term Highlighting And Navigation Added,
                        No Matter Where They Are Stored

    OTTAWA, March 31 /PRNewswire/ - Fulcrum Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: FULCF;
TSE: FUL) today announced that its recently launched Fulcrum(R) Knowledge
Network(TM) product will deliver full support for Adobe PDF file formats,
including indexing and searching them wherever they are stored in the
enterprise computing environment, including file systems, Web servers, Lotus
Notes databases and Microsoft Exchange folders and mailboxes.  Fulcrum also
provides integrated support for Adobe Acrobat(R) software, automatically
launching an Acrobat viewer when a PDF file is selected from a Fulcrum search
result list, and adding search-term highlighting and navigation.
    The Fulcrum Knowledge Network is a comprehensive new Intranet solution
from Fulcrum that allows users with a Web browser or a Microsoft Exchange or
Outlook client to access corporate information stores, including file systems,
internal and external Web servers, Microsoft Exchange folders and mailboxes,
Lotus Notes repositories, custom SearchServer(TM) applications, and more, and
to retrieve over 80 common file formats, fully rendered with enhanced viewers.
