RENO, Nev., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc. (Nasdaq: RENO;
PSE: RNO) begins nonstop service today between Oklahoma City and Las Vegas.
Service between Oklahoma City and Las Vegas begins today with one daily
round-trip. That will increase to two daily round-trips on Friday,
September 19. Passengers may book Reno Air flights through their travel agent
or by calling the airline directly at 800-RENO-AIR. Passengers can also
purchase EZtrip ticketless travel through Reno Air's web site at
http://www.renoair.com.
"Today begins a new era in airline service for Oklahoma City residents,"
said Reno Air Regional Director of Midwest and Pacific Northwest Sales, Mike
Ryan. "We're confident that Oklahomans will welcome our full-service product
at the same low prices offered by no-frills carriers. "Their enthusiasm is
reflected in our advance bookings," Ryan said.
The airline is kicking-off nonstop service with one-way introductory fares
starting as low as $89 between Oklahoma City and Las Vegas. Some restrictions
apply. Reno Air, "A Better Low Fare Airline," offers passengers low fares
plus amenities normally found only on higher-priced carriers.
Reno Air currently serves 24 cities with over 200 daily scheduled
departures. The carrier's fleet of 30 McDonnell Douglas MD-80 and MD-90
series jets has an average age of less than seven years. In addition to low
fares, Reno Air offers advance seat assignments, both domestic and
international frequent flyer programs, a spacious First Class cabin, EZtrip
ticketless travel and full participation in all major computer reservation
systems.
