announced the appointment of Richard H. Chenoweth as president of Canadian
operations including Wells Fargo Alarm Services of Canada and Burns
International Security Services in Canada.  He will be located in Toronto,
Ontario, and report to Mitchell G. Black, senior vice president, marketing and
business development.
    Chenoweth is a seasoned security professional with experience in physical
security services as well as integrated security products and services.  Prior
to joining Wells Fargo Alarm Services, Chenoweth worked for Intercon Security
Ltd., in Toronto, Ontario, for nine years, most recently as corporate vice
president.  From 1980 to 1988, he served as vice president of marketing for
Harlequin Enterprises, Ltd., a multinational publishing and communications
company in Toronto.
    He earned his bachelor's degree in economics and English from Trent
University, Peterborough, Ontario, in 1972 and an MBA degree from the
University of Western Toronto in 1978.
