Revlon Rolls Out Multimedia Promotion for Skinlights(TM) Introduction

Worldwide Print and TV Campaign Complemented by Online Cross-Marketing Program
                and Sundance Film Festival Event with In Style

    NEW YORK, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Revlon (NYSE: REV) announced today a
multimedia marketing promotion for Revlon's exciting new Skinlights(TM) Face
Illuminators color cosmetics line.  In addition to the previously announced
worldwide print and television advertising campaign, the Company is joining
forces with In Style on an online cross-marketing promotion with Revlon.com
and Instyle.com and a nine-day launch event to take place at this month's
Sundance Film Festival.
    Revlon Skinlights(TM) Face Illuminators is a revolutionary new product
line that creates a new mass-market cosmetics category -- skin brighteners.
Skinlights(TM) use color and nature's own light-capturing crystals -- like
rose quartz, mother of pearl and topaz -- to bring luminous new dimension to
skin, without the look and feel of "make-up."  Skinlights(TM) enhance the look
of skin rather than covering it and can be used instead of traditional
foundation or in addition to it.  Skinlights(TM) represents the biggest new
product launch for Revlon since the ColorStay line was introduced in 1995.
    Revlon's multimedia support of the product launch includes:

    *  A significant national print and television advertising campaign:  As
       part of the promotion with In Style, Revlon's Skinlights(TM) print
       advertising campaign will appear in the April issue of In Style
       magazine.  This issue will also feature In Style's editorial coverage
       of the Sundance Film Festival as a style and fashion event.  As
       previously announced, the Skinlights(TM) advertising campaign will also
       feature full-page spread advertisements and inserts in leading fashion
       magazines.  Television ads are appearing worldwide.

    *  Online cross marketing:  For the first time in the Company's history,
       Revlon's website, http://www.Revlon.com, will play a major role in a
       new product launch in an online cross-marketing effort with
       Instyle.com.  Instyle.com will feature a microsite dedicated
       exclusively to Sundance and Skinlights(TM).  Sponsored by Revlon.com,
       this site will provide information regarding the Sundance Film Festival
       and In Style's digital celebrity photos to be taken at the event, as
       well as information on the complete Skinlights(TM) line. The microsite
       will run from January 18 through January 28.

       Revlon.com also will host the "Tell Us About Someone Who Lights Up Your
       Life" sweepstakes, where consumers enter to win a Revlon gift basket
       valued at $400.  This contest will run from January 18 through
       mid-March and the winner's story will be posted on Revlon.com.  In
       addition, beginning January 18, Revlon will undertake a three-week
       email marketing campaign with In Style to promote the product launch,
       sweepstakes and microsite.

    *  A Nine-Day Launch Event at Sundance:  Playing out against the chic
       backdrop of the annual Sundance Film Festival in the ski resort, Park
       City, UT, this nine-day launch event will be centered around the
       newly-created Revlon Skinlights(TM) Lounge, co-sponsored by Revlon, In
       Style and New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT).  Conveniently
       located at 625 Main Street, Park City, UT, (open from 10:00 am to
       6:00 pm daily, January 18 through January 26), the Revlon
       Skinlights(TM) Lounge will be a unique destination spot for
       celebrities, filmmakers and movie fans alike.  Designed by renowned
       designer Chris Norman, the Lounge will be open to all visitors,
       providing them a chance to sample the Skinlights(TM) product in a
       comfortable, soothing atmosphere that embodies the spirit of
       Skinlights(TM).  The Lounge will feature a roaring fireplace,
       tantalizing food and drinks, head, back and neck massages, and
       exclusive Skinlights(TM) consultations from Revlon experts.

       Simultaneously, the Lounge will serve as the studio for In Style's
       digital celebrity photo sessions.  Photos of both the well-known and
       the unknown visiting the lounge during the Sundance Festival will be
       posted for viewing on Instyle.com and Revlon.com.

       at the Skinlights(TM) Lounge on Tuesday, January 23rd at 6:00 pm.
