Syntellect Announces Strategic Distribution Relationship With Manta Systems

     Manta Systems to Resell Syntellect's Vista Call Center Optimization
          Platform Enabling Increased Market Penetration in Florida,
                       The Caribbean and Latin America

    PHOENIX, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Syntellect, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYNL), a
leading global provider of call center technology and hosted service
solutions, announced today that it has signed a strategic reseller agreement
with Manta Systems (Fort Lauderdale, Florida).  This Agreement establishes
Manta as an authorized reseller of Syntellect's robust Vista product line.

    Manta also indicated that they selected to resell the Vista solution
because they believe that the Vista software platform will allow its customers
to minimize their operational overhead while optimizing customer service.
Additionally, Manta liked the flexibility Vista's VistaGen(TM) application
development tool offers its customers, thereby enabling rapid development of
new Java-based application content.
