AMLI Residential Moves to New Web Address

    CHICAGO, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- AMLI Residential Properties Trust
(NYSE: AML) announces that it has moved its web site to a new address located
at http://www.amli.com .  In addition, all e-mail addresses at AMLI Residential have
been converted to the user@amli.com format.  "The AMLI name has strong brand
value in the multifamily industry, and we are excited to extend that value to
the Internet," said Bob Malpasuto, AMLI's Chief Information Officer.  "Now
that we have a permanent home at http://www.amli.com, we look forward to adding many
more features and enhancements to our web site."
    AMLI's web site offers information about AMLI's communities and the
lifestyle they offer.  This information includes interior features, amenities,
floorplans, rental rates, maps, directions and photos.  In addition, residents
can access information regarding contact data for utility providers and
schools, monthly resident newsletters, participating in volunteer activities
and can even submit a service request via the AMLI web site.
    AMLI's new web site also offers shareholders, lenders, partners and other
interested individuals access to in-depth general and financial information.
This includes stock quotes and charts, shareholder reports, a calendar of
important dates with the opportunity to be reminded about them via e-mail, a
