Earthquake Update From Cascade Natural Gas

    SEATTLE, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Following this morning's earthquake,
Cascade Natural Gas officials are assessing the impact to its natural gas
system in the Bellingham, Mt. Vernon, Bremerton, Aberdeen, and Longview areas.
Until final assessment Cascade Natural Gas asks its customers to NOT turn off
their gas service at the meter. If customers smell natural gas and the odor is
originating from within the home or business, customers must leave their homes
and call the natural gas company from a phone outside the home or office.
Customers should not turn any electric switches on or off and should not use
the telephone.
    Again while the impact of the earthquake is being assessed, natural
customers are urged to not turn off their natural gas service.
