    SEATTLE, March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The following is being issued
today by W. Brian Matsuyama, Chairman, President and CEO of Cascade Natural
Gas Corporation (NYSE: CGC):
    The Board of Directors of Cascade Natural Gas Corporation declared the
regular quarterly Common Stock dividend at the rate of cents (0.24) $0.24 per
share, payable in cash on May 15, 2002 to stockholders of record at the close
of business on April 15, 2002.
