          Leading EMS Provider Receives One of Dell's Highest Awards

Services business unit was awarded Dell's "2001 Supplier of the Year" award
for repair service and support.

    Presented by Dell's Americas Service Delivery unit at its annual supplier
conference in Round Rock, Texas, the award recognizes outstanding
contributions by a service provider that delivers exceptional repair support
to Dell and its customers.  Only one such award is presented at the conference
each year.

hardware upgrades for Dell mobile PCs, as well as for motherboards used in
Dell PC products.  Solectron performs this work through its Global Services

repair, upgrades, re-manufacturing and maintenance through factory and
