(NYSE: CGC) will hold a conference call to discuss fiscal year 2001 second
quarter financial results and its growth outlook on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at
7:30 a.m. pacific time, 10:30 a.m. eastern time.
    Second quarter earnings will be released prior to the call after the
market closes on the evening of Monday, April 16, 2001.
