| Corr Wireless LLC Signs Joint Marketing Agreement With AG Communication Systems for ROAMEO(R) Wireless Office Phone System |
PHOENIX, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- AG Communication Systems, a subsidiary
of Lucent Technologies, and Alabama-based Corr Wireless LLC have signed a
joint marketing and reseller agreement that enables Corr Wireless to offer the
ROAMEO(R) wireless office phone system to its customers.
Corr Wireless and AG Communication Systems will market ROAMEO in seven
Alabama markets where Corr Wireless is currently a wireless service provider.
These include the cities of Decatur, Huntsville, Gadsden and Anniston, as well
as Morgan, Cullman and Blount counties. AG Communication Systems will provide
turnkey sales, installation and maintenance support for Corr Wireless's
customers, while Corr Wireless will market and sell wireless in-building and
cellular airtime as well as handsets. The synergy provides customers complete
mobility both inside and outside of their offices by integrating office and
wireless voice communications.

AG Communication Systems' ROAMEO is an adjunct to existing PBX, Centrex or
key office phone systems that allows a standard cellular/PCS phone to act as a
wireless extension of subscribers' desk phones. The system allows users to
make and receive calls and utilize all the features of their office phones
(such as call transfer and forwarding, 4- or 5-digit dialing and three-way
calling) with a wireless phone anywhere in a building or campus environment.
Calls within range of the system incur no per-minute airtime charges.
Subscribers can use the same handset in the external wireless environment,
giving them "one-number-reaches-you-anywhere" convenience.
