LOS ANGELES, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The Senior Advantage Real Estate
Council (SAREC) today announced that the Nevada Association of REALTORS(R)
will offer the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to its
members.
"Between 1990 and 2000, Nevada experienced the greatest increase in
seniors aged 65 and older than any other state," said Nevada Association of
REALTORS(R) President Kellie Rubin. "Our state's 11,000 REALTORS(R) now will
be able to better meet the specialized real estate needs and concerns of this
important group."
SRES designees are educated about such issues as related tax and estate
implications in the homebuying and selling process and are able to point their
clients in the right direction for further assistance. SAREC is the
organization that confers the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation upon
REALTORS(R) nationwide. SAREC's mission is to assist REALTORS(R) in meeting
the special real estate needs and concerns of maturing Americans, who today
own a significant portion of residential real estate in the U.S. SAREC's Web
site at http://www.seniorsrealestate.com / provides seniors and their family
members with access to SRES designees in their areas for assistance.
SAREC is owned by Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS), a subsidiary
of the California Association of REALTORS(R) (C.A.R.). REBS is the exclusive
official supplier of premium incentive items for the National Association of
REALTORS(R).
The Nevada Association of REALTORS(R), headquartered in Reno, Nev., has
