Senate Republican Leader Brulte and Insurance Commissioner Garamendi
Scheduled to Speak at Morning Briefing
SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly 2,000 REALTORS(R) from
across California will converge in the state capital this morning as part of
the California Association of REALTORS(R)' annual Legislative Day activities.
Legislative Day is an opportunity for California REALTORS(R) to meet with
their elected officials to discuss issues that affect homeowners' rights and
the residential real estate industry.
Senate Republican Leader Jim Brulte and Dept. of Insurance Commissioner
John Garamendi are scheduled to speak at a morning briefing from 9 a.m. to
11 a.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center. REALTORS(R) will then march to
the Capitol. The afternoon is devoted to REALTOR(R) meetings with legislators
and the day concludes with C.A.R.'s ninth annual Capital Reception in the
Sheraton Grand Hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attendees have the
opportunity to meet and mingle with state legislators and other government
officials at one of the capital's largest annual receptions.
