Charytin is a complete artist, singer, humorist, comedian and a dramatic actress of first order. She hosted her own program "The Charytin Show" for almost two decades on U.S. television. In the United States and Puerto Rico, her programs received 10 ACE awards. Charytin has composed over 100 songs. She has recorded 17 albums and has performed a concert in Carnegie Hall. She has worked in movies and mini-series like "The Return of Gina". She has stared in television specials from Japan, England, Italy, Argentina and many other countries. Charytin was the main actress in Las Rosas Blancas (White Roses) that won the John Foster Peabody Award, representing the first time a Latin American program received that prize. During the 90's she made the program "Ahora Charytin," an elegant, daring talk show which dealt with controversial issues in a direct manner.
