(NYSE: CGC) will hold a conference call to discuss fiscal year 2001 third
quarter financial results and its growth outlook on Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at
7:30 a.m. Pacific time, 10:30 a.m. Eastern time.
    Third quarter earnings will be released prior to the call after the market
closes on the evening of Monday, July 16, 2001.
