Hundreds of REALTORS(R) Specializing in Seniors Market to Attend Event
LOS ANGELES, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Hundreds of REALTORS(R) specializing
in meeting the needs of senior homebuyers and sellers will convene in Las
Vegas from Aug. 13 to Aug. 16 for the semi-annual Seniors Advantage Real
Estate Council(R) (SAREC) Convention.
SAREC is the organization that confers the Seniors Real Estate Specialist
designation upon REALTORS(R) nationwide. SAREC's mission is to assist
REALTORS(R) in meeting the special real estate needs and concerns of maturing
Americans, who today own a significant portion of residential real estate in
the U.S. SRES designees are educated about such issues as related tax and
estate implications in the homebuying and selling process and are able to
point their clients in the right direction for further assistance.
This year's event, titled "A Senior Moment," will focus on tips about
using the SRES designation to build and increase business, working more
effectively with senior centers in local communities to develop client
relationships, and building a seniors division within a firm using the SRES
program. On Thursday, Aug. 14, noted industry economist John Tucillo will be
the luncheon keynote speaker, followed by a special welcome reception for all
SRES(R) designees, designed for networking and referral-building with members
nationwide. A breakfast with SAREC Senior Advisor Nation Booth will conclude
the 2003 Senior Moment Convention on Friday, Aug. 16.
Cost to attend the SAREC Convention is $299. Additional information is
available online at http://www.seniorsrealestate.com/convention.htm . SAREC's
Web site at http://www.seniorsrealestate.com / provides seniors and their
family members with access to SRES designees in their areas. SAREC is owned
by Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS), a subsidiary of the California
Association of REALTORS(R) (C.A.R.). REBS is the exclusive official supplier
of premium incentive items for the National Association of REALTORS(R).
