"Jim's addition to the AMS team is an important step forward for the
company," said AMS President and Chief Executive Officer Doug Kohrs. "With
his broad financial and operational background and excellent reputation within
the financial community, Jim will help AMS achieve its aggressive financial
goals in the coming years. We fully intend to rapidly build upon our leading
urology franchise, and Jim will play an important role in that effort."
Kohrs continued, "Greg adeptly guided AMS' financial organization over the
last two and one-half years. Our recently completed secondary offering,
coupled with our premier urology distribution channel, has opened up many new
expansion opportunities for the company. The breadth of experience that Jim
brings to AMS will allow us to fully seize these opportunities."
At IVT, Call successfully led debt and equity financings to support the
company's nearly ten-fold revenue growth from 1995 to 2001 when it was
acquired by Boston Scientific. Prior to IVT, Call served as vice president of
planning and development and CFO for Medalist Industries, a leading
manufacturer and distributor of engineered fasteners. At Medalist Industries,
he refocused the company and grew sales to $130 million from $55 million while
quadrupling its market value within four years. He received a master's degree
and MBA from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor's degree from Brigham
Young University.
