New QuickLaunch(TM) Solution Allows Service Providers to Reduce
Time to Market for Small and Mid-Size Call Center Customers
CHICAGO, ICCM 2001 Booth #945, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucent Technologies
announced today the availability of Release 3.1 of its network-based
ClientCare(TM) Call Center Deluxe Edition (DE) product, which enables a
service provider to economically transform telephone systems at small and
medium-sized business customers into sophisticated contact management centers.
ClientCare Call Center DE allows business customers to cost-effectively
manage their customer contacts with many of the professional sales and service
capabilities traditionally associated with much larger companies through a
switch-independent, network-based application. The release also includes the
new QuickLaunch(TM) solution -- a set of enhancements for small and mid-size
businesses that make call center deployments quicker and easier.
The QuickLaunch software includes a standard agent desktop -- a
user-friendly computer work screen -- supporting basic inbound and outbound
features, plus an enhanced agent desktop with outbound preview dialing, a
phone book, attached data and broadcast messaging. The new features also
include a bundled set of tenant announcements and routing strategies.
"QuickLaunch reduces the time to market for both the service provider and
the call center customer," said Ken Arndt, vice president of marketing at
Lucent subsidiary AG Communication Systems. "With this new release, we're
offering a set of features that can be implemented without customization and
the need for expensive and time-consuming system integration, thus reducing
deployment time from months to days."
With ClientCare Call Center DE, enterprise customers get inbound call
handling and routing that can be blended with sophisticated outbound campaigns
and a comprehensive Internet Suite of services. The Internet Suite gives call
center agents the ability to simultaneously handle voice, e-mail, fax, chat,
call-back, call-through and web-based queries and to provide the same level of
customer support to e-commerce customers as traditional customers.
