AG Communication Systems Promotes Staniszewski To Vice President of Manufacturing Operations

    GENOA, Ill., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- AG Communication Systems today
announced the promotion of Robert J. Staniszewski, 45, to vice president of
manufacturing operations, effective Oct. 1.  He succeeds David Harazin, 51,
who has announced his retirement after a 20-year career with the company.
    In his new role, Staniszewski will be responsible for product engineering,
manufacturing of hardware products and the Electronic Manufacturing Services
business.  He joins the company's executive leadership team reporting to
President Jeff Seigel and will remain based in Genoa.
    AG Communication Systems employs approximately 700 people at its ISO 9001-
certified production facility 60 miles northwest of Chicago.  In addition to
manufacturing its own products, the company offers contract electronic
manufacturing services, including printed circuit board assembly, ceramic
thick film hybrid circuits, final assembly, chassis assembly, rack and
enclosure assembly and cable assembly.  The company also offers design
services, product verification testing, qualification, electrical test,
inventory management, flexible order entry and ship programs.
    Staniszewski joined the company in 1981 as a senior supervisor in thick
film manufacturing.  Before being named plant manager in 1994, he held various
leadership positions in manufacturing.  Staniszewski earned a bachelor's
degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.  He also
attended the AT&T School of Business Manufacturing Leadership Program.  He is
active in his local community and serves as president of the board of
directors of the Voluntary Action Center in DeKalb County, Ill., and as a
board member of the DeKalb County Economic Development Corp.
