Revlon Announces Appointments to Promote Worldwide Industry Leadership

William J. Fox Adds Corporate Responsibilities, Frank J. Gehrmann Becomes CFO,
        Kathy Dwyer Appointed President, Revlon Consumer Products USA

    NEW YORK, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Revlon, Inc. (NYSE: REV) today announced
several major appointments in the corporate and consumer products areas. "To
reach our goal of worldwide beauty industry leadership we need to have an
internal structure in place that maximizes future growth," said George
Fellows, President and Chief Executive Officer.  "These changes make us a
stronger organization by better utilizing the talents of our outstanding
people."
    In the corporate area, William J. Fox, Senior Executive Vice President,
Revlon, Inc. has been given added responsibilities as President, Strategic and
Corporate Development, Revlon Worldwide and Chief Executive Officer, Revlon
Technologies.  Most recently, Fox served as Senior Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer, Revlon, Inc., where he was instrumental in
guiding Revlon's financial growth, including his major role in Revlon's IPO
and the Company's subsequent relationship with the financial community.  In
his new Strategic and Corporate Development role, Fox will continue to be
responsible for Investor Relations and capital markets activities, as well as
business acquisitions.  Fox will also expand the development of new product
process technologies generated and licensed by Revlon Technologies.  He will
continue to report to Fellows and serve on the Board of Directors.
    Frank J. Gehrmann has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief
Financial Officer, Revlon, Inc.  Previously, Gehrmann was Vice President,
Revlon, Inc. and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Revlon
Operating Groups, where he was responsible for the financial management of
Revlon's Worldwide Operating Division and global information technology
efforts.  He now adds to this all corporate financial responsibilities as well
as risk and facilities management.  Gehrmann joined Revlon in 1993  as
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Revlon North America.
Subsequently he added financial responsibilities for international and
professional products.  Gehrmann played an important role in helping the
operating company achieve its objectives by strengthening the financial
organization, improving information technology and promoting cost efficiency.
He now reports directly to Fellows.
    Kathy Dwyer has been appointed President, Revlon Consumer Products USA,
adding responsibility for Revlon's U.S. Beauty Care division, which is
Revlon's consumer hair color, hair care and body care business.  She also
retains her title as Senior Vice President, Revlon, Inc.  Previously, Dwyer
was President, Revlon Cosmetics USA, the company's U.S. cosmetics, skin
treatment and fragrance business.  Dwyer joined Revlon in 1993 and has headed
the team and cosmetic strategy that has fueled the company's market growth and
resurgence.  Under Dwyer's stewardship Revlon captured the number one position
in U.S. mass color cosmetics market.  In her expanded position, Dwyer
continues to report to Fellows.
    Charles Busta has been appointed Executive Vice President, General
Manager, Revlon Professional USA, with responsibility for Revlon's Open Line,
Exclusives, and Special Markets, and the General Wig, American Crew and
Creative Nail Design businesses.  Previously, Busta was Executive Vice
President, General Manager, Beauty Care USA. Busta joined Revlon in 1996.
During his tenure, he brought to market ColorStay Hair Color, one of Revlon's
most successful hair color product launches, as well as successful new
products in the Mitchum anti-perspirant line.  Busta will continue to report
to George Fellows.
    Stephen Krawczyk has been appointed Executive Vice President, General
Manager, Beauty Care.  Krawczyk joined Revlon in 1996 as General Manager,
Cosmetics USA.  He has helped guide the Almay team as Almay became the fastest
growing brand in the U.S. mass cosmetics market, and repositioned Revlon's
fragrance brands and Ultima II line.  In his new position, he continues to
report to Dwyer.
