Illinois REALTOR(R) Carol Ann Surufka Honored at Orlando Conference
ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Senior Advantage Real Estate
Council(R) (SAREC) today announced that it has awarded its 10,000th Seniors
Real Estate Specialist(R) (SRES(R)) designation to REALTOR(R) Carol Ann
Surufka, a REALTOR(R) with Why USA Oakview Partners Real Estate in Lansing,
Ill. SAREC made the announcement during the National Association of
REALTORS(R) 2004 REALTORS(R) Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla. The SRES(R)
designation was conferred to Surufka on Oct. 8 in Illinois.
"Since its founding in 1998, the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council has
continued to set the industry standard for training and educating REALTORS(R)
to meet the needs of senior homebuyers and sellers," said SAREC(R) Chairman of
the Board Mike Silvas.

said. "Reaching the 10,000-designee mark is a testament to the quality of the

SRES(R) designation."

Seniors Real Estate Specialist(R) (SRES(R)), to identify those REALTORS(R) who
have successfully completed its education program along with other
prerequisites. By earning the SRES(R) designation, REALTORS(R) demonstrate
knowledge and expertise to counsel senior clients and are prepared to offer
those clients a variety of informed options when making life-changing
decisions. One of the fastest-growing and most timely programs for
REALTORS(R), the Council now has Seniors Real Estate Specialist(R) designees
in all 50 states and Canada and adds hundreds of new members every month.
