Revlon Elects Irwin Engelman Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer

    NEW YORK, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Revlon, Inc. (NYSE: REV) announced today
the election of Irwin Engelman as Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative
Officer of Revlon, Inc.  In this new position, Mr. Engelman reports directly
to George Fellows, President and Chief Executive Officer.
    "The election of Mr. Engelman significantly enhances our management
capacity at Revlon and will enable me to focus greater time and attention on
the operational aspects of the business and further build our worldwide
leadership in cosmetics," Mr. Fellows said.
    Mr. Engelman, 64, joins Revlon from MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., the
majority shareholder of Revlon, Inc., where he has served as Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer since 1992.  In his new position at
Revlon, he will have responsibility for the Finance, Investor Relations,
Legal, Human Resources and Corporate Development functions.
    Prior to his joining MacAndrews & Forbes, Mr. Engelman was Executive Vice
President, Chief Financial Officer and a Director of GAF Corporation.  He has
held various other key positions throughout his career, at major companies
such as The Blackstone Group, General Foods Corporation, The Singer Company
and Xerox.
    Born in New York, Mr. Engelman earned a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from
Baruch College and a J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is a member of
the New York and  American Bar Associations, the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants, the Accounting Research Foundation and the
Financial Executives Institute.
    In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Engelman serves as
President of the Baruch College Fund, Chairman of the National Corporate
Theatre Fund and Trustee of the Long Wharf Theatre.
    Mr. Engelman and his wife live in New York and Westport, CT.
